RIP Brian Jacques.

Edit:
I showed this to my martial arts instructor who is a fan of redwall (more so his daughter). He said I should increase the number of people attending the wake. That struck me like an arrow that buzzed to through the still air.

Thank you very much :iconalicexz: for the DD!

Rest Mr. Jacques has a lovely soft focus and delicate coloring, a beautiful painting and a wonderful tribute to the late author Brian Jacques by ~chichapie. ( Featured by `alicexz )

I think adding more people would add confusion. It is simply beautiful as it is, and that sad little mouse in the middle-ish area makes me wunna cry q-q

I grew up reading the Castaways of the flying dutchman series as a kid.
Brian Jacques incredible writing were a cherished treasure as i was growing up as a kid being severely abused by others my age and being vastly isolated.

I read each book of the Castaways series atleast 5 times each, the angel's command i am certain i read atleast 10 times

I was really upset when a friend told me Mr. Jacques had passed. Seeing this lovely piece of art is making me cry. Very nicely done.

RIP Brian Jacques.

I had the opportunity to visit Mr. Jacques' grave whilst I visited Liverpool. Sadly, I could not find it, nor could the locals tell me where he lay. Still, I said a few words, and it was nice to be around his old stomping grounds.

Rest in Peace, Brian Jacques. If it weren't for reading Mossflower in second grade I might have never become such an avid reader. We all miss you.

This is very touching, and beautifully drawn. Well, Mr. Jacques is the one who made Redwall possible! We should remember him fondly.
