Basil Stag Hare, Adult Matthias and Mattimeo just chilling and... well, eating scones.

I haven't got a time lapse video of this because I needed to preserve some free space on my HD, since Fraps uses up so much space in capturing videos.

This is more or less a relaxation piece. Taking time to review what I've learned so far in my experiences in painting in the past year. One thing worth mentioning in that review is that I still suck at painting trees

I guess I'm interested in your shading method, along with the subtle changes in your hues. Are you placing the highlights on a "soft light" layer? Thanks dude and insight would be great!

All lights and shadows are in one single layer. I consider layer effects as final touch ups. Subtle change of hues result from blending.
